Despite Utoya July 22 being about the same atrocity, you could not get 2 different films. The main character plays a very convincing role and her emotions seemed very believeable and true. All in all it is mostly close ups of people running around in the forest and by the water. A few minutes before the ending I got almost angry.I couldn't have anymore.I was thinking without realising "please stop this nightmare!! With Anders Danielsen Lie, Jonas Strand Gravli, Jon Øigarden, Maria Bock. Then, rather shocked and moved by the facts I had just watched,I sat down and read about the hole real story.All the facts with details(i.e the misjudged importance of the situation by the authorities etc).Then my shock was even bigger! It was very heavy to watch. Jonas and Emir are members of a criminal gang of 14-15 year-olds in Oslo. The film is told out of the perspective of a fictional victim of the attack and follows the circumstances and 72 minute crisis in real time. The haunting screams followed gunshots really shook me, especially since this actually happened. I have never written a review before but this movie frustrated me to the core. This is the story told from the view of journalists, police, medical professionals and civilians.
[4][5][6] The film was written, directed and produced by Paul Greengrass and features a Norwegian cast and crew. The hardest part is that this has happened for real, and this film depicts the fear that these young people must have felt in a very convincing way. About the worst terror attack in Norway, possibly including World War 2, by Anders Behring Breivik, a white supremacist who detonated a bomb outside a government building, then went to an AP party youth camp to kill "the next generation of politicians", killing 77 people, mostly youth.
Can she trust the people she works for? This movie is an honest portrayal of a horrific event that took place on Utøya. In the hands of a master filmmaker such as Greengrass, the event and the subsequent effects of it gets treated with utmost care and respect. The camera hectically follows the victims. A three-part story of Norway's worst terrorist attack in which over seventy people were killed.

I'm happy I saw it because it's a good movie but would never ever put myself trough that again.
