My growth at Scott Sedita's Acting Studios is showing and my love for acting is continuing to blossom. The class is made up of 16 people so Scott is able to give you his full attention. Deborah has never been caught acting nor does she teach it. The year 2014 was a terrifying year for me. To have the amazing ability to have his own studio that correlates with the books is unbelievable.

We break down scenes logically, find our own unique approach to the characters and to comedy, and we also work on technical aspects like sightlines and camera technique.

Actors need to act. I've have grown so much as an actor in the last year and am thrilled to continue being pushed above and beyond my limits. From the moment I walked into Jorge Luis-Pallo's Scene Study class, I've been challenged while flourishing with the training techniques that he so generously provides. And I've learned that by doing less, I'm actually bringing much more "Rasika" than I ever have. Scott also has a great eye for an actor's "type" and I've personally seen him suggest a physical change for an actor (new hair, new clothes, get contacts, etc) and then a few months later the actor books something big. Scott is SO on top of current trends in writing, filmmaking, auditioning, etc. Between coaching and classes at the Scott Sedita Acting Studio, I have learned so much about myself as an actor. I now have the tools that will increase my ability to book jobs. Deborah encourages her students (me) to have relationships and it's all about connection in any scene. I count on these as my weekly place to check in as an actor, continue to grow, challenge self with new scripts each week, and obviously have fun. I was a child actor and a graduate of NYU, but I don't think I truly understood how to approach auditions & this business with success until I started taking classes at the studio.

The workshops were so valuable that we travelled up from San Diego for them. She is as real as it gets and has a heart of gold.
