It makes absolutely no sense to provide an alternative method to obtaining precursors than a trading post economy controlled gold sink, then make that alternative require an entirely different trading post economy controlled gold sink. These items/characters have a super ultimate "Legendary" rarity that cannot be earned rather quickly.
