Does anybody know if the blue pressing resolved some of the "pop and click" issues with "The First Time" on Side 3?
rlj1010, Jun 20, 2020 #72. The design, made quite quickly, is built up of a grid of images in the same manner of Achtung Baby over which layers of distressed, floating text are placed. I think that is more true of the first vinyl than the second. U2 are a famous Irish rock band that was formed in Dublin, Ireland in 1976.
One of U2's most interesting albums sonically and this blue pressing doesn't disappoint. Zooropa, an Album by U2. Review Changes Which isn’t fair, because Zooropa is a charismatic, playful document of its time. No banknote would be complete without a serial number and the Zoo Ecu banknotes were no different.
The discography of the Irish rock band U2 consists of 14 studio albums, one live album, three compilation albums, 67 singles, and nine extended plays (EPs). The band sometimes get in the act and enjoy a little hidden message as much as we do and so they asked us to revise the oval signage that appears on the left hand side of the album sleeve.
Inspired by the band's experiences on the Zoo TV Tour, Zooropa expanded on many of the tour's themes of technology and media oversaturation. The Pop album features a track called The Playboy Mansion. The original image had F21-36 and indicated the direction to a series of check-in desks.
We weren’t aware that we’d used it at all but when we examined the cover it just so happened that if you look closely at the shot of Larry’s eye and turn the picture sideways the shadows make it look as if we’ve placed the Playboy logo over one eye!
Somehow lost in the rush, we managed to not to update this track list so that several songs that didn’t make the final cut got left behind in the embedded piece, including Wake Up Dead Man, Hold Me, Thrill Me, Kiss Me, Kill Me and If You Wear That Velvet Dress!During U2’s Zooropa tour, Bono appeared as the MacPhisto character, a horned, gold lamé-clad washed up rock star who sang Daddy’s Gonna Pay For Your Crashed Car while fake money in the shape of Zoo Ecu banknotes were cannoned into the audience by the thousands. Highly recommended just for the audiophile experience. The band formed at Mount Temple Comprehensive School in 1976 as teenagers. First of all, this is a great album.
Sonically the pressing sounds amazing, the stand outs might actually be the 4th side (Lemon and Numb remixes). Mine did not. The tour with its highly charged electronic TV images in all of their saturated colours and fizz gave us the notion of conjuring up the sleeve of Zooropa as a kind of electronic flag. Brilliant but completely accidental!The cover of the album features the band in the departures hall of 2F at Charles de Gaulle airport in Paris photographed by Anton Corbijn. Daddy's Gonna Pay for Your Crashed car is also on point. All three were produced on two 12-inch vinyl records, pressed at 180gram weight.
This is a wonderful remaster with no surface noise.
In 1979, the group issued their first release, the EP U2-3, which sold well in Ireland. Superb clarity that brings out the best of the album's intricate Eno soundscapes whilst the vocals and minimal guitar hooks are crisp and intimate.
A sort-of sister album to 1991’s Achtung Baby, Zooropa often slips from view when looking back on U2’s ‘90s.
We had good fun designing these notes. Hold Me, Thrill Me, Kiss Me, Kill Me If You Wear That Velvet Dress Wake Up Dead Man . InPurpleRainbows, … In 1994, Zooropa won a Grammy Award for Best Alternative Music Album.

One side of the notes featured a cigar-smoking Bono give the peace sign, while the other side mimicked a real banknote with its filigree detailing, its Bank Of Zoo seal and its declaration to Watch More TV.
Was this supposed to come with a download code? The cover features a sketch of the circle of stars from the Flag of Europe with a "sad astronaut" drawing in the center.
The band members consist of Bono on lead vocals and guitar, The Edge on vocals, guitar, and keyboards, Adam Clayton on Bass Guitar, … This is a wonderful remaster with no surface noise.
